MOIA Legal Technical Mentorship
Chosen Generation strengthens immigration legal services for Haitian and other low-income immigrants in NYC. Through the MOIA Legal Technical Mentorship Program, they train legal staff, provide culturally relevant outreach, support complex immigration cases, and build partnerships with community organizations to ensure free, high-quality legal help is accessible and trusted.
The Community Empowerment Program
Through the The Community Empowerment for Financial Stability and Workforce Engagement initiative, Chosen Generation, helps low-income New Yorkers build financial independence. They provide financial literacy training, job readiness support, housing and childcare assistance, and savings programs—empowering individuals and families to achieve long-term stability and reduce reliance on public assistance.
The Pathways to Employment Program
Through the Pathways to Employment initiative, Chosen Generation helps underserved individuals gain stable, long-term employment. The program combines hands-on job training, career coaching, job placement, and wraparound support, including childcare, transportation, and mental health services—preparing participants for meaningful careers in high-demand industries such as healthcare, technology, and manufacturing.
