About Us
Chosen Generation I Inc. provides a holistic, wraparound support model in New York City that addresses the social, economic, and legal needs of individuals and families. We have 25+ years’ experience in human service operations as we have successfully managed, built, renovated, and relocated multiple community and homeless and transitional housing projects for over 1000 youth and 200 employees. We specialize in serving Haitian and French-speaking immigrants by offering culturally responsive services, including case management, medical and mental health advocacy, workforce development and job placement, housing and eviction prevention assistance, and immigration legal referrals. Our programs also include food and clothing distribution, translation and interpretation services, ESL and acculturation support, and assistance obtaining essential documents to promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency. We have also been in partnership with SYEP for the past six years providing worksite opportunities for New York City Youth. We are currently working in collaboration with workforce1, MIOA, We Speak NYC, DOH, and DHS.

Chosen Generation, Inc. (Chosen Generation) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing a range of support and assistance aimed at enhancing the well-being and quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. Our mission is "Building Lives and Re Establishing Hope." We focus on addressing diverse social issues, promoting equality, and a enhancing the overall welfare of those in need. We empower individuals and families, strengthen communities, and foster a more equitable society through targeted interventions and support systems. Chosen Generation is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for overseeing policy development, fundraising initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
Chosen Generation has a deep-rooted commitment to assisting immigrants, homeless individuals, and underserved communities. In 2000, Haiti Relief was founded by our president in collaboration with Childs Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ (Childs Memorial Temple), under the guidance of the late Bishop Norman N. Quick. The organization's efforts in aiding the homeless and supporting Haiti relief efforts are intertwined, underscoring our overarching dedication to serving communities in need. Through initiatives like Haiti Relief, Chosen Generation provides essential resources such as clothing, food, educational opportunities, vocational training, job placements, legal aid, and medical referrals to vulnerable populations, both locally and globally.
