Our vision at Chosen Generation is to build lives and renew hope by tirelessly alleviating human suffering through comprehensive support services that meet immediate needs and promote long term solutions. We aim to ensure that all individuals and families have access to essential support services, opportunities for personal growth, and pathways to achieve self-sufficiency.

Chosen Generation I Inc was founded in 2015 as a community-based human services provider in New York City. Our core mission is to support individuals, families, and immigrants facing a variety of challenges, particularly those related to immigration, housing instability, or homelessness.

Annually, we used to serve approximately 720 constituents. However, beginning in October 2023, due to a surge in recent Haitian immigrants in Harlem and the Bronx, our numbers have significantly risen. We have transitioned from serving about 60 constituents per month to 80 per month in the last quarter of 2023, marking a 33% increase per

However, beginning in October 2023, due to a surge in recent Haitian immigrants in Harlem and the Bronx, our numbers have significantly risen. We have transitioned from serving about 60 constituents per month to 80 per month in the last quarter of 2023, marking a 33% increase per month. From January to June 2024, our current number of constituents served has reached 900. Over the past six months, we have assisted 125% more individuals compared to our typical annual service numbers.

We provide critical services including case management, immigration legal assistance, eviction prevention, housing support, food pantry services, ESL classes, vocational training, public benefits assistance, and job placement. We work in close partnership with Haitian clergy and Haitian churches throughout Manhattan and the Bronx, and through a collaboration with a local mosque, we also serve French-speaking African immigrant communities. Due to a significant and urgent increase in demand, our organization is experiencing unprecedented service requests.

We offer one-on-one counseling sessions with licensed therapists to help individuals dealing with mental health issues. Our therapists provide personalized support and guidance to help you overcome challenges.
Support Groups
We offer support groups for individuals dealing with specific mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Connect with others who understand what you're going through and find the support you need.
Online Therapy
We offer online therapy sessions for individuals who may not have access to in-person support. Our licensed therapists provide confidential support and guidance from wherever you are.
